Job Title: Site SCADA Engineer
Location: Office based in Winnersh Triangle (Travel is expected for client site functions)
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated candidate for the position of a Site SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team working on multiple projects for various clients. The successful applicant will be provided role specific training and then become responsible for upgrades and configuration of Site SCADA Systems for various projects, as well as further expanding the in house Coteq development system.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Upgrades and configuration of Site SCADA Systems – AVEVA System Platform.
  • Project workstream lead.
  • Deployment and configuration of virtual machine servers.
  • Expansion of the Coteq AVEVA System Platform development system.
  • Provide technical support to clients and other team members.
  • Production of technical and testing documentation.
  • Assisting in the design, configuration, and development of a wide range of network infrastructure for key projects.
  • Obsolescent hardware replacements including firewalls, switches and servers.
  • Participate in site start up meetings, system configuration and commissioning.
Essential Requirements:
  • Hands on experience with AVEVA System Platform SCADA Systems.
  • Knowledge of the water industry and Operational Technology networks.
  • A demonstrable track record of expertise in Networking, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS office.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
It would be beneficial if you had one or more of the below desirable skills.
  • 2 years+ of experience with AVEVA System Platform.
  • Cyber Security knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with Rockwell PLC’s and HMI’s.
  • A strong understanding of network architectures including IP addressing, VLAN usage, virtualisation technology.
