SCADA Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated candidate for the position of a Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering team.. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, programming, and testing control systems for various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming control systems using ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text

• Convert PLC code from legacy systems to new platforms.

• Commission control systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with industry regulations

• Write technical documentation for control systems, including Functional Design Specifications, SAT, and TRS

• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in a timely manner

• Designing control systems using PLCs and HMIs

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Software, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• Strong technical writing skills and experience creating technical documentation for control systems

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g. Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)

• Experience with HMI design and programming

• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)

• Full clean driving licence

It would be beneficial if you had one or more of the below desirable skills.

• Project management experience

• Proven experience in converting PLC code from legacy systems to new platforms

• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards for the water industry

• Knowledge of network infrastructure design
