Senior Telemetry Engineer

We are seeking a enthusiastic, self motivated candidate for the position of a Senior Telemetry Engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering team. The role available is to support our clients PSTN replacement project.The Senior engineer will be responsible for managing a number of delivery streams. They will be ensuring the Systems Integrators are delivering to the required quality and producing the necessary documentation in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
· Managing several streams of work
· Monitoring of Subcontractors deployment programme
· Quality assessment of subcontractors installations and handover documentation
· Report to Lead Engineer and provide regular updates to Project and Programme management team

Essential Requirements:
· A demonstrated track record of expertise in Software, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
· A minimum of 5 years of industry experience
· Proven technical writing experience, including the development of comprehensive technical documentation for control systems
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
· In-depth knowledge and extensive experience in Telemetry protocols and communications
· Proven team leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members to success
· Full clean driving licence
· Right to work in the UK

Desirable skills and experience:
· 5-10 years of experience in telemetry and RTUs
· Knowledge of SCADA systems and WITS DNP3 protocol
